Unprotected People Reports
Case reports, personal testimonies, newspaper and journal
articles about people who have suffered or died from
vaccine-preventable diseases. Unprotected People reports are an
online collection of more than 90 articles and case reports about
vaccine-preventable diseases. This web section offers visitors an
opportunity to read articles about the diseases that are prevented
by vaccines. Because immunization has been so successful,
vaccine-preventable diseases such as diphtheria and polio are fading
from our consciousness. These reports remind us why vaccines are
essential to protecting and preserving our public health. They serve
as a counterbalance to anti-vaccine news stories.
